Bursa’da mazot dökülen yolda zincirleme kaza: 4 yaralı

On 08:30, a truck accident took place on the Bursa‑İzmir highway in the rural Karacaoba neighborhood of Nilüfer. The 70 AAD 776 truck, bound for İzmir, suffered a rupture in its fuel tank, spilling diesel onto the road. The slick surface caused a chain collision involving nine vehicles, leaving four people injured. Police and medical teams were summoned; the wounded were first treated on the scene and then transferred to nearby hospitals.

The official vehicle of Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir was among the cars involved. Özdemir was not injured and continued his program after the incident. Road crews applied absorbent sand to clear the diesel, and traffic was restored to a single lane after the vehicles were removed. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
